HOW WE STAY SAFE

Covid-19 / Coronavirus Precautions in our sessions

Now, more than ever, we all need to prioritise and focus on our health and wellbeing. Gong and Sound Baths can help you to de-stress, relax, meditate and self-heal. 


We’ve made a number of changes to our group classes to ensure that we can continue with our face-to-face group Gong Bath sessions in a safe way for us all. We follow all government covid-safety guidelines for businesses, and all of the venues we use are covid-secure. 

Please find all the info below and don't hesitate to get in touch if you have a question.

SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE

  • The venue will be sanitised and ventilated prior to our session

  • All sound equipment will be sanitised

  • Instructor will be wearing a face shield and/or face covering if required by government guidelines.

  • Payments will be contactless (online transfer prior to session)

  • One-way system to enter / exit venue

  • Reduced class sizes

  • Generous mats spacing to ensure social distancing is possible

  • Attendees to bring their own equipment

  • Attendees to leave items/bags at the edges of the room or away from others’ items

  • Temperature checks for attendees on entry (only when required by the venue or government)

  • Hand sanitiser for attendees on entry

  • After the session, please contact us if you show symptoms of Covid within 7 days of attending the Gong Bath

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

  1. Mat to lie on (yoga, camping etc, anything that will make you comfortable on the hard floor)

  2. Pillow(s) 

  3. Blanket

  4. Eye mask (optional)

  5. Bottle of water

  6. Wear comfy clothes, layers, warm socks

WHAT TO DO AT THE SESSION

  • Wait outside the venue until the doors are opened, socially distanced from other attendees during peak covid seasons

  • Enter the room as instructed and set up your mat, pillow and blanket

  • Put your belongings at the side of the room, or away from other people’s belongings. Ensure phones are switched off.

  • Sit on your mat and wait for the session to start as normal (feel free to us the toilets before the session begins).

  • At the end of the session, when you are ready, pack up your belongings as instructed.

  • Leave via the exit door, one at a time as instructed.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A GONG BATH SESSION IF:

You have tested positive for covid-19.

You have symptoms of a cold, flu, RSV or covid-19 (inc. new cough, temperature, loss of smell/taste etc).

You have been in contact with someone who has or may have covid.

You are awaiting covid test results. 

You have been asked to self-isolate / quarantine.
